Established in 1916, Lassen Volcanic National Park is home to meadows freckled with wildflowers and clear mountain lakes. Located within the peaceful forests of Northern California it’s also a southernmost point for Cascade Range volcanoes! One such example being Mount Shasta which lies at its feet at 7,677ft.
The cool geysers and hot springs of Lassen Volcanic National Park are a must-see for any visitor to the park. Some amazing examples include plopping mud pots, bubbling pools or roaring steam vents - all evidence that this area has some pretty incredible hydrothermal features!
